Skog Sykkel is the evolution of Isak Leivsson’s passion project of frame building. What started out as a project to find a ride that wasn’t (and still isn’t) available in the bike industry, has matured through numerous versions and types of mountainbike frames and components. A side project to a full time engineering job makes it a low volume endevour, but one worth pursuing as the product is a high performing alternative to what is otherwise a very homogenous industry.

As a maxim in both life and business, it is imperative that Skog’s claims are backed by physical objectivity, and therefore great effort will be made to provide explanation and reasoning for all choices related to frame design choices, and the riding style they aim to provide for. This will be continually added to this site, free for all to see.

Isak Leivsson is a former World Cup downhill racer. Merits include a few top 30 race results and a few national championships. In 2021 he raced self-made frames in the final at 2 World Cups.
